The day began at Veronika’s Place, meeting the volunteers
and social workers that provide support services to the people who are sick
with the HIV virus.

| Immediately after getting off the bus, the Veronika's Place volunteer staff greeted us with song and dance. |
We were blessed to
work in the Food Bank and distribute food to these 400 people who participated
in the morning celebration. This enabled
me to become involved in an effort that began in 2007.
